Times are a changing and it can seem this ship is flying at half-mast. However, step a little closer… a little closer… come on… closer some more … BOO – things aren’t always exactly as they seem.
It happened that one day T awoke to find not a peep from me on her phone. Usually there are numerous voicemails and missed calls from my side of the port, whilst I eagerly await the rising of the rest of the world. Then of course, just when you thought there could be no more… another phone call, because in all my messages I have in fact, forgotten to address the issue I had originally wanted to call for. Actually sometimes this can take me days to achieve – I get side tracked really easily. Rainbows – what? Though we saw the looming horizon neither of us was prepared or really comprehending the inevitable separation.
So now with our flags flying at half-mast, how are we going to measure our sails? This is where the quantitative Vs qualitative theory comes into play. I salute with utmost erectness that this is not a comparative study of how to measure the worldliness of a friendship but simply a statement – you’re either one or the other.

Damon Herriman is joining me in the studio today. We’ll be discussing his journey as an actor from the 10 year old child actor on Aussie TV series The Sullivans, to acting opposite Leonardo Dicaprio in Clint Eastwood’s film J.Edgar.
Damon has recently been cast as the lead in the new series of ABC’s LAID.
He appears in the U.S version of Wilfred tonight on Channel 11 at 9.30pm (Australian Television).

Today I was joined in the radio studio by my incredible friend CALEB ALLOWAY - a fiercely talented and inspiring actor based in Sydney. Last month, the gifted ELIZA ST JOHN, another Sydney based actress joined me on Bondi FM as an esteemed co-host. Both of these performers are two people who I hold close to my heart - they are doing amazing things in this world, driven by passion and love for life. On both shows, I played the Intro from the xx’s new album… and on both occasions, they shared the same reaction: it transported them. The track is selfless, generous and rich - just as they are, which I’m sure is why they were both equally drawn to it - since, we recognise in others what we ourselves possess. This song inspires me, just as they do - I dedicate this to you two. Close your eyes, listen…and enjoy the journey.
